Regional ManagerThe Salvation Army is hiring for a Regional Manager in Gettysburg PA (Home Office) - Serves Multi-County Region. The position is immediate, full time (40 hours/week), and reports to the Director of The Service Extension Department. The salary is $58,656.00 per year/11 Exempt.The Regional Manager (RM) provides support and management to staff and volunteers of the Service Extension programs and fund raising in assigned regions. This position serves but is not limited to Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, Franklin, Adams, York, Dauphin, and Lebanon Counties.The Service Extension Representative is responsible for providing leadership in establishing and maintaining fundraising efforts for each Service Unit in their region, in collaboration with Community Relations & Development when appropriate. This role includes monitoring existing Service Extension Programs, ensuring strict adherence to internal controls on funds, vehicles, wills, and other legal documents, and serving as a liaison between Service Units and Divisional Headquarters staff. The representative will recruit, train, and develop new committee chairpersons, members, and volunteers, as well as personally visit all Service Units within their assigned area. Additional responsibilities include assisting with annual budget development, ensuring effective marketing and public relations activities, and providing resources and materials to support community programs. The role also involves assisting in the development and implementation of new programs, identifying opportunities for systemic improvements, and attending Service Unit meetings and regional events. The representative will actively participate in United Way meetings and community service groups, maintain accurate records, and train volunteers in proper record-keeping. Supporting divisional responses and large-scale events, exercising sound judgment, and performing other related duties as assigned are essential to this position.The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive, and the candidate will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.Requirements include: willingness to establish and maintain a dedicated office at home, active in local Community Service Organization and/or Church Organization, residence within the assigned service region is strongly preferred, high school diploma with a bachelor's degree preferred, at least 3 years of related work experience, willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region, valid driver's license and approval to operate a Salvation Army vehicle, proof of completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014, and meeting the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153, including the PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check.
