Territory Sales Representative

Total estimated compensation is a base salary plus a multi-layered bonus and commission structure that rewards activity, growth, and territory ownership The following benefits are offered: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous PTO plan Company van with gas card Company-shared EBITDA gain-share bonus pool Own your territory – covering Missouri and Iowa with a road-based, autonomous schedule Sell a product that’s already on shelves and in demand – you’re growing a brand, not starting from zero Work with a lean, entrepreneurial team where your results are visible, and your impact is real Plan for approximately 8-10 overnights per month as part of territory coverage $75 for meals on days when you are not spending the night at home What You’ll Do: Drive new account acquisition by identifying and targeting independent small businesses – electrical supply houses, lumber yards, hardware stores, local grocery chains, and similar accounts Actively pursue and close new stocking locations through in-person visits, hitting your monthly target for new accounts added Convert non-stocking locations where the product is set up nationally but not carried locally into active stocking locations Hand off qualified new accounts to the Regional Growth Support Associate or Account Management team, ensuring all documentation and account details transfer smoothly; in select cases, you may retain direct account responsibility Maintain and merchandise existing stocking locations – secure off-shelf display support, upsell, execute HQ-planned promotions, perform in-store demos, and ensure product is properly stocked and positioned at every visit Log daily sales activity, account signings, and pipeline progress in Salesforce; regularly report on new account conversions and NPA performance Support customer-facing events in the territory including trade shows, table days, and regional promotions Maintain a stock of product samples and POP materials to service the territory appropriately Must be comfortable being on the road 4-5 days per week within the Missouri & Iowa territory What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of experience in territory sales, business development, or retail merchandising, preferably within the CPG industry Strong understanding of retail store operations, basic retail store finance, and negotiating agreements to close business Proficient in Salesforce to record daily sales activity and track pipeline Detail-oriented and organized with a high degree of accountability to deliver KPIs Must have a clean driving record – an MVR will be completed prior to submission About Dawson Dawson is a trusted staffing partner based in Central Ohio.
