Job Description:

Perform all tasks involved in the production of our client’s products. This includes laminating, slitting, die-cutting and assembly work with various materials including foams, rubbers, metals, graphite, cork-fibers, and fiberglass. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Sets-up and operate any shop machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, Job Orders, routers and diagrams to select dies, position, and secure machinery
• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks per specification to run job orders accurately and maximize productivity
• Adheres to operating procedures/instructions
• Accurately record labor and material usage in ERP system

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED equivalent
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, expectations, and procedures in manufacturing
• Ability to read and perform basic math skills including counting
• Ability to use various tools including tape measure, dial caliper, and other hand tools
• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Basic reading skills for understanding drawings, Job Orders, and specs
• Strong manual dexterity
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

The base pay range for this position is $17-21 an hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
