Website Product Manager

An employer is seeking a Website Product Manager to join their team in Palo Alto, CA. He or she will join the organization's Consumer team supporting the launch of a new streaming/TV platform and broader digital product initiatives. This is not a traditional timeline-management PM role - the ideal candidate has hands-on technical experience working alongside or within development teams, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven track record of owning and launching products end-to-end. The role sits at the intersection of technology, e-commerce, and digital media, requiring someone who can operate independently, adapt quickly, and drive cross-functional initiatives forward. He or she will own and manage the full lifecycle of technical product launches, including the TV streaming platform initiative, serve as the primary liaison between engineering, design, product, and business stakeholders, develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports primarily using Excel-based project management tools. In addition, the Product Manager will help to identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early and drive resolution across teams and will be required to translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks for development teams. This role is onsite 3 days a week in Palo Alto, CA and will convert to an full-time employee after 6 months of employment depending on performance and budget. The hourly rate for this role is at $75/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of Website Product Management experience in a technical environment

Proven experience owning and launching digital products (e-commerce, streaming, or media platforms strongly preferred)

Hands-on experience working directly alongside software development or engineering teams

Strong proficiency in Excel for project tracking, reporting, and planning

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable with ambiguity and able to self-direct

Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
