We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support defense service operations in Arlington, Virginia. This Contract position focuses on managing inbound and outbound materials, maintaining accurate shipment records, and providing dependable administrative support to keep logistics activities running smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring strong coordination skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the receipt of incoming goods, confirming quantities and documenting deliveries with accuracy.
• Arrange outgoing shipments to ensure materials are prepared, labeled, and dispatched on schedule.
• Track domestic and international deliveries, providing updates and resolving routine shipping issues as they arise.
• Maintain organized logistics documentation, including shipment records, receiving logs, and related administrative files.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers to support efficient movement of materials and equipment.
• Assist with customs-related paperwork and compliance steps for applicable shipments.
• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks that support warehouse and logistics operations.
• Help implement logistics process updates or system-related changes as directed by the organization.• Experience supporting logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations in a detail-focused setting.
• Working knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including documentation and tracking activities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple shipments and priorities while maintaining close attention to detail.
• Familiarity with customs processes and related shipping requirements is preferred.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Clear communication skills for working with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with standard office software and logistics-related systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a Contract role within a structured, deadline-driven environment.
