The location in Owensboro, (Kentucky, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Maintenance Specialist . This job is full-time permanent. MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST Position Summary Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Specialist serves as a key member of the Owensboro maintenance team. This positionis responsible forsupporting plant safety, equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintenance & Technical Support Perform hands-on maintenance and repair activities on converting and production equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment. Identifyand implement reliability improvements to reduce downtime. Leadership & Coordination Lead preventive maintenance and shutdown projects. Coordinate work assignments and provide directions to maintenance personnel, contractors, and vendors. Facilitate maintenance, safety, and training meetings. Serve asbackupfor the Maintenance Manager whenrequired. Safety & Continuous Improvement Promote safe work practices at all times. Ensure unsafe conditions are corrected promptly. Lead approved safety improvement projects. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Minimum5 years of industrial maintenance experience. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret schematics. Demonstrate leadership and communication skills. Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and maintenance systems. Preferred Qualifications 5+ yearsmaintainingpaper converting or manufacturing equipment. Advanced knowledge of paper converting processes. PLC Programming Certification or equivalent experience.
