Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required License: Active nursing license in the specified state required Certifications: ACLS and BCLS required Must-Have: - Experience in STEMI/NSTEMI care and CHF management - Pre and post cardiac catheterization care experience - Ability to assist with bedside procedures such as line insertion and thoracentesis - Skills in managing cardiac drips Description: Seeking a registered nurse specializing in telemetry for night shifts. The shift is scheduled from 18:45 to 07:15 with ratios of 1:5-6. The nurse will float within the scope to meet facility needs as necessary. Every other weekend coverage is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Candidates must have experience in interpreting dysrhythmias and telemetry management. Responsibilities include starting and maintaining IVs and managing cardiac drips without titration. The patient population includes adults with various telemetry diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, and sepsis. No open-heart or interventional cardiac procedures will be managed on this unit. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as physical therapy and pharmacy. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
