Strategic & Acquisition Ops Research Planner The Engine Room Advisor requires at least 15 years of government acquisition experience, of which 5 years shall include duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs. Master's degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science Technology, Engineering, or Statistics. Responsibilities Perform strategic planning and policy implementation for the Commander at the United States Space Force (USSF) Innovation and Prototyping (SZI) Acquisition Delta. Create new organizational concepts, assess unit impacts in technical, financial, and morale dimensions, as well as integration impacts to the enterprise. Develop Space Force and mission-level acquisition strategies, plans, and concepts to support customers’ strategic and tactical objectives. Create new visions and messaging for the organization and cross-cutting concepts for improving portfolio management. Skills Required Proficient in M/S Office applications, i.e., Outlook, Project, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Excel. Superior verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills. Ability to create, cultivate, and communicate innovative concepts and Courses of Action (COAs) anchored by expert analysis. Extensive program management experience, strategic communication/planning experience, and senior-level government space acquisition experience. Material Leader experience and/or successful completion of DAU’s PMT 401 highly desired. Strong knowledge of the DoD protocol, acquisition, operational, and project management processes and policies. Top-secret level clearance required. Education Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
