Project Manager

Travel Requirement: Up to 25%. Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance required. Primary Responsibilities Manage full life cycle of assigned projects Provide a single point of contact for assigned projects Interface with all stakeholders including Contracting, Financial, Legal, Security, Senior Staff, Executive Staff, Customers, End Users, Engineering, IT and Team Members Participate in Business Development activities including networking, program capture and proposal development Develop project artifacts including detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates (EACs), resource plans, and status reports based on contractual requirements Conduct project meetings virtually and/or in-person Perform project tracking and analysis Ensure adherence to quality standards Manage and review project deliverables Ensure all project contractual obligations are being satisfied Provides analytical guidance to project team Recommend and/or direct the analysis and solutions of problems Perform staffing and workload forecasting Work with Project Controllers to satisfy project financial requirements Requirements Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Program Management or other related field Five (5) years of experience managing/supervising technical teams/projects related to the role Must be a US citizen Must pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications PMP certification Ability to build trust and confidence with customers, engineers, technicians, program management, and product line management to achieve program and business objectives Demonstrate leadership by example, building trust and inspiring people through a shared vision where people feel valued, empowered, and fulfilled Ability to independently lead and support technical meetings with customers, teammates, program management and leadership Experience in systems engineering and/or software engineering Experience executing projects with Agile methodology Experience with DOD related contracts Experience with proposal effort coordination, including estimating, bidding, narrative writing, risk identification, and technical leadership Ability to grasp complex issues, independently formulate analysis and proposed solutions, lead people, manage complex activities, manage risks and opportunities, brief issues and represent the company well to the customer Successful completion of a background screening/check/investigation will/may be required as a condition of hire. Salary Range The proposed salary range is reflective across all Sherpa 6 locations, years of experience, and skill levels.
