Some serve by providing hands-on care or medical treatment, others serve by assisting behind the scenes, but they all play an integral part in creating comebacks.With your help, we can take on the challenges, the barriers, the statistics, and the seemingly impossible.Here are just some of the ways Hope Network invests in you for all that you do:Pay based on experienceMedical, Vision, & Dental CareSupportive Work EnvironmentEducational ReimbursementCareer-PathingPaid TrainingEmployee Referral BonusGenerous Paid Time OffWith your help, we can take on the challenges, the barriers, the statistics, and the seemingly impossible.What you'll be doingCustomer Service & ComplianceProvide exceptional customer service to internal and external partners.Follow AFC Licensing Rules and organizational policies.Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.Facility Maintenance & RepairsTravel to multiple locations across Michigan to complete first-response maintenance tasks.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, décor, and general repairs.Perform installations including light fixtures, outlets, shelving, and garage door openers.Complete repairs such as flooring, toilets, sinks, faucets, blinds, cabinets, decks, and bookcases.Handle décor updates including painting, wall hangings, and window treatments.Perform general maintenance including caulking, weather-stripping, power washing, and heavy cleaning.Support moving and storage of furniture and equipment between sites.Assist with program openings/closings and facility audit readiness.Perform groundskeeping including shrub trimming, snow removal, and snowplowing.Safety & DocumentationReport safety concerns immediately to management.Conduct fire safety checks including extinguishers, smoke detectors, egress routes, and fire doors.Maintain repair documentation and internal reports.Perform inspections of buildings, equipment, and vehicles.Use tools and materials safely and as intended.Project & Vendor CoordinationProvide accurate cost estimates for assigned work.Serve as point person for outside maintenance and construction vendors.Act as project manager for designated jobs.Order and pick up supplies as needed.Administrative ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate receipts and reconcile credit card use monthly.Track daily activities through the electronic work order system.Complete required trainings with 95% on-time renewal.Provide oversight to consumer employees when needed.Job RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Michigan driver's license with acceptable driving recordCompletion of required trainings and certificationsStrong teamwork, organization, and time managementAbility to work independently and exercise good judgmentStrong communication skillsAdvanced problem-solving skillsProficiency with hand/power tools and metersAbility to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift 50 lbsAbility to work in challenging conditionsAbility to maintain confidentialityWork Experience Requirements5+ years of maintenance experienceMajor carpentry experienceElectrical and plumbing experienceKnowledge of tools and equipmentVendor relations experienceExperience with individuals with disabilities preferredProject management skillsOur strength lies in diversity – empowering us to meet the distinct needs of over 34,000 individuals we're honored to serve each yearEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
