Minimum Qualifications:
- Must hold an active, unrestricted medical license issued by the State of Texas.
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Must possess a current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
- Must possess a valid National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Must be proficient in computers and electronic health record systems.
- Must complete all required facility and HHSC training.
Required Skills
- Strong psychiatric assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medication management and clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to present clinical information clearly.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Schedule and Service Delivery
- Regular schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Services may be provided on-site or remotely through telepsychiatry.
- Providers delivering services remotely must report to the facility in person on their first day.
