About the Opportunity We are seeking an Engineering Manager, Data Warehouse Engineering to lead the design and evolution of a modern enterprise data platform built on Databricks and Azure. You will be responsible for architecting scalable data systems, leading a team of engineers, and driving best practices across data engineering, automation, and security. This role blends technical depth with leadership, allowing you to stay hands‑on while also mentoring and guiding a high‑performing team. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of data engineers while fostering a collaborative and forward‑thinking engineering culture Design and architect scalable data warehouse and lakehouse solutions using Databricks and Azure Build and optimize data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and transformation processes Implement DevSecOps principles to ensure security, compliance, and reliability across the data platform Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and environment consistency Drive automation across data workflows to improve efficiency and scalability Partner with analytics, IT, and business teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality data solutions Evaluate and integrate modern technologies, including AI and machine learning, to enhance data capabilities Requirements Seven or more years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse architecture At least three years in a technical leadership or engineering management role Strong hands‑on expertise with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and MLflow Experience building and deploying data solutions within Microsoft Azure environments Background in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare is preferred Strong ability to mentor engineers while remaining technically engaged Benefits Competitive top‑notch salary with bonus eligibility Fully remote role with flexibility and autonomy Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401k with employer match Generous paid time off and holiday schedule Opportunity to lead and build within a modern, cloud‑based data environment #J-18808-Ljbffr McCulloh Consulting
