Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in a dynamic school environment near Grain Valley, MO. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position spans the academic year from August 25, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:40pm.

You’ll play a vital role in supporting students’ communication and language growth across multiple school settings, primarily at Liberty High School with additional responsibilities at Heritage Middle School and potentially another district building. At the high school level, your expertise will benefit students in specialized ESC and BEST classrooms while also delivering essential support and overflow services throughout the district.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Previous experience working in school settings (elementary to high school is a plus)
• Firm understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for teamwork with teachers, staff, and families
• Demonstrated organizational skills to effectively manage a split caseload across sites
• Commitment to delivering onsite, in-person services throughout the academic year

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in specialized and general education classrooms
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans to address students’ unique communication needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary educational team to develop and monitor IEPs
• Maintain thorough documentation and reports in compliance with district policies
• Serve as a resource for staff and families to promote student success
