EHS Manager

A leading food & beverage manufacturing organization is looking to add an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to its Modesto, California area facility. This person will be tasked with leading site-wide EHS programs to support safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible operations. The role partners closely with plant leadership to build a strong safety culture and drive progress toward zero injuries and world‑class performance. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced EHS professional to have visible impact at the plant level. The Role Lead and manage environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs across the facility Own site environmental systems, including air, wastewater, waste management, permitting, and regulatory agency interactions Drive workplace safety initiatives through training, audits, inspections, and incident investigations Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local environmental and safety regulations and complete all required reporting Facilitate safety committees and support corrective and preventive action planning across operations Lead and mentor a team of EHS professionals The Candidate Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS environment; CSP preferred Strong working knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations Proven ability to interpret regulations and apply them effectively within plant operations Strong communication skills with experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr
