Dental Assistant

Role Overview: This full-time Dental Assistant position involves supporting dentists in a variety of dental procedures while providing exceptional patient care. The assistant maintains supplies and equipment, prepares patients, charts dental records, updates medical histories, and sterilizes instruments following established protocols. The role requires flexibility to work chair-side with the dentist, assisting in enhancing their skills within legal regulations. Key Responsibilities Assist with dental procedures and patient preparation Maintain and sterilize dental equipment and supplies Chart and update dental and medical records Support patient reception and care Perform other assigned duties as needed Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or GED required Preferred certification as a Dental Assistant and one year relevant experience Proficiency with electronic dental records (EDR) is strongly preferred Current MA Dental Assistant licensure, BLS certification, and radiology certification required This role reports to the Director of Dental Services, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. #J-18808-Ljbffr The VIOS Clinic
