The Advanced Products Center (APC) Manufacturing Engineering organization is seeking a Process Engineer I to join the CCA Process Engineering team in McKinney, Texas. This hands-on role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative cleanroom environment, supporting RF microelectronic packaging and surface mount technology (SMT) within our state-of-the-art Microwave Automated Factory (an ISO Class 8 cleanroom environment). As subject matter experts, our team plays a critical role in factory success by installing and qualifying new equipment, improving existing processes, and driving process improvement projects. You will work closely with product engineers, quality engineers, reliability engineers, tooling engineers, industrial engineers, and operations leaders to develop and implement cutting-edge materials, processes, and automation, while also supporting mature production processes.

What You Will Do:

• Provide on-site support for high-volume, high-mix production by addressing equipment, processes, materials, and product challenges to ensure efficient operations.
• Utilize data-driven methods like SPC and DOE to develop and maintain controlled processes, including creating/updating process documentation.
• Support new product builds using automated equipment, propose solutions for next-gen designs, and drive process improvement projects to enhance productivity.
• Evaluate and qualify materials, equipment, and processes, collaborate with suppliers to resolve technical issues, and integrate capital equipment for current/future needs.
• Communicate technical information across cross-functional teams and spend extended periods in a cleanroom environment, adhering to protocols and ESD procedures.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Hands-on experience with automated machines used within the surface mount technology (SMT) industry.
• Experience navigating technical requirements within IPC, J-STD and military standards and other engineering data packages (i.e. product drawings).

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Proficient in SPC, DOE, statistical data analysis, RCCA, and identifying key process parameters for process control and qualification.
• Experienced in technical writing for operator instructions, qualification reports, and vendor statements of work.
• Proven leadership in managing projects, directing activities, and driving results with strong problem-solving skills using a data-driven approach.
• Effective team player with excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration and inclusivity in a dynamic environment.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
