Job Description

Responsibilities : How this position supports the vision

• Own inbound flow from appointment/dock scheduling through receipt verification and put-away readiness.
• Lead receiving and put-away processes to support timely availability of product for downstream operations.
• Manage dock scheduling and inbound capacity to reduce congestion, detention, and avoidable dwell time.
• Establish and enforce vendor compliance standards for labeling, Advanced shipping notice/packing list accuracy, delivery appointments, palletization, and documentation as applicable.
• Partner with Inventory Control, Outbound, Transportation, and Process Leads to resolve receiving discrepancies and flow constraints.
• Monitor inbound productivity, labor utilization, quality, damage, and receiving accuracy.
• Develop standard work and escalation routines for inbound associates and Team Leads.
• Partner with the training team to create and perform support peak planning and continuous improvement initiatives that increase inbound capacity and reduce touches.
• Proactive and timely communication of concerns, issues, and ideas for improvement to Management.
• Protects company assets, ensuring all equipment is used and maintained properly.
• Maintains awareness of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Adheres to all security and safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all Associates.
• Assist in any task requested by either the direct Manager or any person in Management.
• Maintain a highly efficient work environment.
• Work as a team within all functional work areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Safety, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may substitute.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or a related operational environment; 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use KPIs and operating data to identify issues, prioritize work, and drive corrective action.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with changing priorities and customer commitments.
• Strong personal accountability, integrity, flexibility, and commitment to safe, compliant, respectful operations.
• Working knowledge of receiving, put-away, dock scheduling, WMS transactions, vendor compliance, and inventory handoff controls.
