Core Responsibilities

• Execute radiographic and CT imaging techniques to produce precise diagnostic images for clinician assessments
• Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Skillfully position patients and fine-tune equipment to ensure superior imaging quality
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols for patient and staff protection
• Keep meticulous records including imaging logs and equipment checks
• Deliver empathetic care and support to patients throughout the scanning process
• Foster an organized, safe, and efficient imaging environment

Education and Certification Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; a Bachelor's Degree is highly desirable
• Completion of a radiology program accredited by the ARRT

Mandatory Certifications

• Current ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare teams
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
• Attentive to detail and a commitment to professionalism
• Technologically proficient in the use of PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
