Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and caring Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist ready to join our progressive imaging team committed to delivering top-notch care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during every procedure, communicating instructions clearly and empathetically
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, quickly addressing any malfunctions
• Document procedures and maintain patient records accurately within our electronic medical record system
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
