Experience: Minimum 1 year

License: Must be in hand prior to start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted.

Certifications: ASCP MT, MLS, or MLT accepted

Must-Have:

• Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with automated instruments and various laboratory tests required.

Description: This position requires a Medical Lab Technician specialized in Medical Lab Science. The technician will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and ensuring accurate results. Candidates should have experience with a range of testing procedures and equipment, including automated instrument use. The role requires familiarity with sample preparation and proper handling of biological materials. Candidates will be expected to interpret quality control metrics and report test results accurately. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols in a laboratory setting are essential. The position involves rotating weekends and may require floating within the facility. Candidates must possess strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. This is a night shift position, working 5 days a week with rotating weekend coverage. The technician will engage with a diverse patient population across various age groups. A background in hospital clinical laboratories is preferred. Candidates should be solid team players and adaptable to the dynamic nature of the lab environment. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace is a critical aspect of the role.
