Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Details

• Location: Sumter, South Carolina
• School: Oakland Primary School
• Assignment Dates: July 27, 2026 – May 21, 2027
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
• Setting: Onsite Only
• Caseload: Early Childhood Special Education (3K and 4K students)

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Track student progress and maintain required documentation.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching License.
• Required endorsements/certifications for Special Education.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations is preferred.
