Key Qualifications:

• Active Ohio certificate or license in Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate)
• Proven experience delivering support in resource rooms, facilitating small group tutoring, and working in inclusion classroom settings
• Background working with students with multiple disabilities, as well as collaborating effectively with staff and diverse populations
• Strong ability to access and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with students’ needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and intervention to kindergarten students in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure the best learning environment for each student
• Develop, update, and maintain thorough records, including the creation and implementation of IEPs
• Employ a variety of instructional strategies to support differing ability levels, ensuring inclusive and equitable experiences for all
• Cultivate positive relationships with students, fostering a supportive and compassionate learning atmosphere
