HR Coordinator

SUMMARY

The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource process at the business unit. Completes clerical duties, assists the HR Manager with recruiting candidates to fill open roles and aiding in other functions of HR. Key Responsibilities Consulting with the hiring teams and identifying employment needs. Interviewing potential applicants regarding their skills, experience, and education. Contacting references and performing background checks on applicants. Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits, and duties. Hiring or referring qualified applicants for the employer. Conducting or helping with new employee orientation. Keeping process paperwork and employment records. Requirements / Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required). 1+ years of previous clerical experience (Required). Prior recruiting experience – preferred. Bilingual preferred. Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Strong written and oral communication. Organization and attention to detail. Analytical and problem‑solving skills. Time management. Systems analysis. Mathematical and deductive reasoning. Critical thinking. Physical Demands / Work Environment Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed, walk primarily on a level surface, reach above shoulder heights, and lift as required to file documents or store materials. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion. The work environment is an ambient room temperature, lighting and traditional office equipment typical of a typical office environment.
