Position Overview Join the team at Capital Veterinary Specialists in Jacksonville, Florida! We’re looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to bring their expertise and passion to our thriving specialty hospital. Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate, multidisciplinary specialist care to North Florida and South Georgia. Utilize state‑of‑the‑art technology including Sound Digital Radiology units, Storz Endoscopy suite, Samsung ultrasound units, DRE Volumax Oxygen System, and ventilator oxygen assist therapy. Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary peer network to support professional well‑being. Participate in the Specialty Directors Board, Clinical Research Committee, Doctor Mentorship Committee, and other educational platforms. Experience & Skills Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required. State Veterinary Board license in good standing for the state in which the candidate will be hired, before start date. Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
