Product Development Lead

About the Position: We are growing and looking for a hands-on R&D Supervisor to lead our dedicated team of technicians and welders. This is a dynamic, on-the-floor leadership role where you will guide the daily workflow of our R&D department, ensuring that new and existing product projects move swiftly from prototype to production. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate the daily activities of R&D technicians and welders to ensure projects are completed on time. Provide technical guidance and work closely with the engineering department to develop, build, and test prototypes. Act as a field test operator by running machinery at the factory, test farms, and customer sites to identify and mitigate risks. Identify critical manufacturing techniques to facilitate the smooth implementation of new product launches. Lead daily and weekly project team meetings to communicate risks and keep everyone aligned on goals. Qualifications: BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred. Five years of experience working with hydraulics, electronics, engines, and power trains. Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment. Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical schematics. A self-motivated mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a talent for thinking outside the box.
