Who You Are As a Functional Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive quality assurance processes. Responsibilities Design and execute test scripts, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently. Play a key role in verifying that applications meet Section 508 accessibility standards, ensuring that digital solutions are usable by individuals with disabilities. Use your attention to detail and commitment to thorough testing to directly impact the overall user experience and product success. Gain exposure to automated testing tools, scripting languages, and accessibility evaluation platforms. Utilize bug‑tracking systems, version control software, and continuous integration pipelines to streamline your workflow. Create and maintain test documentation and participate in peer reviews to deliver high‑quality results. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and adapt to evolving project requirements. Qualifications 3+ years of experience with quality assurance and scripting for Section 508 compliance. 3+ years of experience with accessibility and agile testing. Experience with automated testing tools. Familiarity with accessibility compliance (Section 508). Knowledge of bug‑tracking systems. Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience writing and executing test cases.
