You Are As a Functional Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive quality assurance processes. Responsibilities Designing and executing test scripts, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues efficiently. Verifying that applications meet Section508 accessibility standards, ensuring that digital solutions are usable by individuals with disabilities. Applying a detail‑oriented approach to thorough testing that directly impacts overall user experience and product success. Utilizing automated testing tools, scripting languages, and accessibility evaluation platforms (highly beneficial). Employing bug tracking systems, version control software, and continuous integration pipelines to streamline workflow. Creating and maintaining test documentation and participating in peer reviews to deliver high‑quality results. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams and adapting to evolving project requirements. Requirements 3+ years of experience with quality assurance and scripting, including 508 compliance. 3+ years of experience with accessibility and agile testing. Bonus Skills Experience with automated testing tools. Familiarity with accessibility compliance (Section508). Knowledge of bug tracking systems. Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience writing and executing test cases. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, NewJersey, NewYork, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is: $86,400—$176,200USD.
