Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, establishing a foundation for effective treatment.

• Develop customized treatment plans that are in alignment with clients’ specific needs, goals, and preferences, incorporating a variety of therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide structured and result-oriented counseling to individuals and families.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care practices to empower them on their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor and track client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care solutions for clients needing multifaceted support.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health to continually refine and enhance treatment modalities.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines by maintaining accurate and confidential client records.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, focusing on reducing stigma and promoting access to essential services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus primarily on individuals and families dealing with challenging relationship dynamics, divorce, and various mood disorders. Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflict. Your goal will be to foster meaningful therapeutic relationships that drive positive outcomes and enhance overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.

• Demonstrated empathy, a nonjudgmental approach, and a strong understanding of clients' diverse experiences.

Compensation and Benefits\n
