Join our Venice Family Clinic and make a difference in the community and lives of children. As an Infant Toddler Teacher you will help with the development, implementation, and supervision of center-based activities for infants and toddlers. In this position you will also establish and maintain a relationship of trust with Early Head Start families, work with families and staff to ensure comprehensive services, and help with the maintenance of a safe learning environment.

Salary Range: $21.92 - $33.99 Hourly

Senate Bill 525 was signed into law by Governor Newsom in October 2023. Starting June 1, 2026, SB525 sets a new $25/hour minimum wage for nonexempt healthcare workers and raises the exempt employee salary threshold to $1,500/week (equivalent to $6,500/month or $78,000/year). 

In accordance with SB 525, as the offer amount outlined in this letter falls below the minimum salary required by the legislation, we will provide a supplementary amount to ensure compliance. The total compensation package, including this supplement, will meet the minimum salary standards set forth by SB 525.

Qualifications

Required:

• California Teacher Permit.
\n
• Formal training in early care and education, and experience working with infants and toddlers in an educational setting.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with staff, infants and toddlers, parents and families.
\n
• Ability to be flexible, open-minded, follow directions, and follow/implement plans.
\n
• Ability to move up to 50 pounds
\n
• Ability to work with cleaning/sanitizing chemicals.
\n
• Possess a telephone or other means of immediate communication.
\n
• Ability to travel for home visits as needed. 
\n

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential obtained within one year and AA and BA in Child Development preferred.
