Security officer for a construction site- downtown PHX

Seeking an experienced construction security officer for a part-time opening. Must have security construction experience.

Must have an AZ guard card.

Looking for a part-time security officer for every Sunday night from 600pm to 530am.
Sunday night each week. 11.5 hour shift

Busy downtown location- free parking included.

This is for security night shift at a construction site in downtown PHX. We are looking for security officers that have experience in working security on a construction site outside. Must know safety and OSHA standards for working at a construction site.  This is an outside only post in the downtown PHX area.

Some of the duties included but not all.

• Using silvertrac for DARs, 2 entries per hour
• Patrol the fenced areas.
• Working outside on your shift.
• Check all gates and fence lines.
• Do not let anyone on site overnight.
• Watch for fires or other emergencies.
• Firewatch. every 3-4 hours, with a patrol twice an hour on property.
• Report all pipe leaks, issues as needed.
• Keep vagrants/homeless people off site and away from the construction areas and their closed sidewalk and office areas.
• Walking stairs- ( 17 floors) 
• Watch for theft, vandals, unauthorized people.
• Be able to use silvertrac for reporting hourly and incident reports.
• Patrolling and checking two areas an hour on silvertrac.
• Work mostly alone or the whole shift without supervision.
• Call 911 as needed or call police, fire or ambulance.
• watching for fence jumpers or and keeping people out of the site
• Answer the site phone as calls may come in overnight.
• Be detailed, aware, and alert at all times.
• Walking for patrols every hour, walking up and down stairs.

What to know-
Must be able to work alone and handle homeless persons with respect and care.
17 floor building. Stairs only, no elevator. NOTE- you do not have to walk all floors each night, but you do have to walk some stairs each shift. Be able to walk stairs, up and down a few times a shift.
Must be in good physical shape/ fit.
Walking, foot patrols, walking stairs.
Work alone over nights. You are in a locked fenced area.
Be able to handle high stress situations and be able to handle difficult people.
Must wear hardhat, safety vest and PPE at all times while on site on duty. ( which will be supplied for you)
Port-o-Johns on site only.

Must have a current AZ guard card.
Full training and safety gear provided all provided.
