Job Opportunity

Position Overview

This position involves supporting complex cases across the healthcare system and providing patient care in the community, primarily through virtual interactions. The candidate may need to float between offices in Emeryville, CA, and San Francisco, CA, as required.

Shift Details

Schedule: Day Shift, 5 days a week
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Requirements

California RN License (Required)
Experience in Inpatient Case Management (Required)
Previous Charge Experience (Preferred)
Experience with Epic Charting System (Required)
Community Hospital Experience (Required)
Travel may be required
BLS Certification (Required)

Skills and Experience

Acute Hospital Experience
Admissions Criteria and Behavioral Health Knowledge
Care Coordination and Discharge Planning
Knowledge of CMS regulations and InterQual Criteria
Experience with Prior Authorizations and Retrospective Reviews

Patient Care Details

This role will involve working with adult and geriatric patient populations. The successful candidate will be expected to assess patient needs and coordinate care effectively.

Compliance and Onboarding

Completion of required onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing
7-Year Work History Verification required for all candidates
All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date

Additional Information

Modules related to the role are non-billable, and can take 1-5 hours to complete. Any time spent beyond 16 non-billable hours will be billable. Modules will be completed during orientation and recorded through e-learning.
