Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a dynamic obstetrics and postpartum unit. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care during the night shifts, with a requirement to work every third weekend.Unit Details:12 postpartum rooms4 swing/antepartum rooms5 labor rooms4 triage rooms2 operating roomsKey Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, including antepartum and postpartum care.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and provide education to patients and families.Participate in mandatory overtime during assignments to ensure adequate coverage for the unit.Float or be reassigned to different departments or units as needed within clinical competence.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in obstetrics.Prior travel nursing experience is required.Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.Additional Information:The unit operates with a staffing ratio of 1:3 in Labor and Delivery, 1:3 in antepartum care, and 1:6 in mother/baby couplet. Scrubs will be provided, and experience with Epic and Pysis electronic medical records is preferred.Client Details City Farmington State CT
