Eligibility Specialist

Providing high-quality customer service, the fixed-term Eligibility Specialist will verify benefits and eligibility for patients, handle inquiries from various stakeholders, and conduct research to determine coverage options, all while working in a call center environment. Key responsibilities Review incoming referrals for completeness and confirm FDA requirements are met Assist with reimbursement inquiries, including insurance benefit verification and prior authorizations Maintain accurate documentation of all inquiries to improve customer service processes Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a call center Computer proficiency in MS Office applications; database experience preferred Knowledge of health insurance claims, billing, coding, and medical terminology preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Virtual Vocations Inc
