Corrections Registered Nurse (RN)

Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Needed

We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at a corrections facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Position Details

Setting: Corrections Facility

Shift: Night Shift

Schedule: Full-Time Opportunities Available

Start Date: September 2026

Pay: Competitive Rates (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated individuals in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Conduct health assessments, intake screenings, and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, correctional staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable nursing standards, regulations, and facility protocols.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN)

• Current and unrestricted North Carolina RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous correctional, emergency room, psychiatric, medical-surgical, or public health experience preferred.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Current and unrestricted North Carolina LPN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous correctional, long-term care, emergency, or clinical nursing experience preferred.
