Facilities Coordinator

On-Site | Miami, FL | 5 Days per Week

Pay Rate: $45/hour

A top Financial Services firm is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of its Miami office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and has experience performing a variety of office maintenance and repair tasks in a corporate environment.

This is not a facilities coordination or work order management position. The individual in this role will be responsible for responding to maintenance requests and personally completing the work. Candidates whose experience is limited to dispatching vendors, managing tickets, or coordinating repairs without performing the work themselves will not be a fit.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and complete facilities-related service requests throughout the office

• Troubleshoot and repair office furniture, including standing desks and workstations

• Assemble and install office furniture as needed

• Hang artwork, frames, signage, and other office fixtures

• Perform light painting, touch-ups, and general cosmetic repairs

• Handle minor electrical, carpentry, and maintenance tasks

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure the office remains in excellent condition

• Assist with office moves, reconfigurations, and workstation setups

• Partner with facilities leadership on larger projects as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on facilities, maintenance, building services, or handyman experience

• Experience performing repairs and maintenance work directly, not solely coordinating vendors or managing tickets

• Strong knowledge of furniture assembly, basic carpentry, painting, and general office maintenance

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with attorneys and staff

• Able to lift, move, and install office equipment and furniture as needed

• Experience supporting corporate office environments, professional services firms, or law firms is preferred
