Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Repair and maintain all plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, production equipment, etc.
• Adjust and replace parts in machines or equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect all machinery and equipment regularly to identify potential issues
• Order parts for machinery and equipment and fabricate new equipment when needed
• Train new Maintenance Technicians and perform scheduled total productive maintenance (TPM) tasks

What's Needed?

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machinery problems efficiently
• Knowledge of lockout-tagout procedures and emergency response actions
• Willingness to follow safety and environmental procedures, including waste recycling
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
