As the Clinic Manager for the Long Beach Primary Care and Pediatrics, you will oversee administrative and clinical support functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• overseeing patient experience, access, financial and budgetary oversight

• staff human resources oversight
\n
• clinician on/off-boarding
\n
• care coordination and communication
\n
• space management
\n
• supply-chain management
\n
• environment of care
\n
• clinical outcomes

• quality and safety reporting
\n
• revenue cycle management
\n
• policy development and deployment
\n

Responsibilities also include, following and adhering to personnel policy and procedure, recruiting qualified personnel, partnering with Lead physician, clinic leads/supervisors, Medical Director, and\n Director of Operations to assure an overall effective operation. Salary Range: $88,900 - $190,300

\n \n \n

\n Qualifications \n

\n

Required:

\n

Demonstrated effective supervisory skills including experience in recruitment, performance appraisal, identification and communication of expectations, discipline, and training

\n

Skill in analyzing information and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns and recognize alternatives and their implications.   

\n

Skill in operating a personal computer and software programs, including MS Word, and Excel Spreadsheet

\n

Interpersonal skills to promote a cooperative and productive work environment and to establish and maintain cooperative, productive working relationships with faculty, residents, medical students and staff from various social, cultural, and economic backgrounds

\n

Writing skills to prepare accurate and concise reports and memorandums that clearly convey information utilizing appropriate vocabulary and grammar

\n

Working knowledge of computerized appointment scheduling and registration system, and the ability to effectively train staff in the use of the system

\n

Skill in verbal communications to clearly convey complex problems and proposals in both formal and informal situations

\n

Working knowledge of the Care Connect system

\n

Demonstrated experience in managing patient services and nursing staff in a private medical practice or community clinic

\n

Skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.   

\n

Accounting skills to plan, prepare and analyze revenue and expense budgets.

\n

Ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with a patient population in varying degrees of health.

\n

Working knowledge of University and Hospital policies and procedures to appropriately manage patient registration, cashiering, risk management, and personnel
