Our client, a global technology company, is seeking a part-time attorney to provide support to their in-house employment team on a contract basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative environment, addressing a wide array of employment-related legal issues and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities Counsel employers on a broad range of U.S. labor and employment law matters, including but not limited to wage and hour laws, workplace safety, employee benefits, and anti-discrimination laws. Collaborate directly with HR professionals and business leaders in an in-house environment to provide practical and strategic legal advice that aligns with the company's business objectives. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of employment-related agreements and documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Conduct internal investigations and audits to assess potential legal risks and develop strategies for mitigation. Stay updated on the latest developments in employment law and proactively communicate relevant changes and their potential impact on the organization. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm and in-house environment, with a focus on employment and labor law. Significant experience in handling complex employment law issues and providing strategic counsel to senior management. Strong ability to work collaboratively with HR and business teams, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven track record of effectively managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality legal advice in a fast-paced setting. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
