Job Title: RN PCU Profession: RN PCU Specialty: RN PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Ortho/Trauma stepdown experience Description: Provide nursing care in an orthopedic/trauma stepdown unit. Ensure patient safety and comfort. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions. Document care provided and patient progress accurately. Participate in unit meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients and staff. Adhere to established protocols and policies. Engage in professional development opportunities.
