Position Overview

A U.S.-based manufacturer of fiber optic cable, is seeking a driven Sales Territory Manager to grow and manage an assigned territory. This is not an order-taking role. This position is for someone who can hunt, close, and build long-term relationships. You will be responsible for expanding existing accounts, developing new business, and driving measurable revenue growth. The ideal candidate is competitive, results-oriented, and capable of learning technical products quickly.

Responsibilities
• Manage and grow an assigned sales territory
• Develop new business through outreach, networking, and relationship building
• Expand existing accounts and increase share of wallet
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and product solutions
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and close business
• Maintain pipeline, forecasts, and customer activity
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction


Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred or a minimum of an Associate's degree required
• 1-3+ years of sales experience (B2B or manufacturing preferred)
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Strong written communication skills (emails, proposals, customer correspondence)
• Strong phone skills and comfort with outbound calling
• Ability to learn technical products and communicate effectively with customers
• High energy and enthusiasm with a positive, driven attitude
• Ability to take feedback and a strong desire to continuously improve
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Comfortable handling pressure in a fast-paced, results-driven role
• Professional presence and ability to represent the company effectively with customers
• Self-motivated and organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Travel required within assigned territory


Compensation
• Base Salary: Starting at $45,000
• Commission: Uncapped, performance-based
• On-Target Earnings : $85,000
