Job Overview Job Overview A law firm seeks a Tax Associate in Jefferson City, MO. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in complex federal transactional tax matters, including business entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. Experience with state and local tax matters is preferred. Duties Advise clients on federal transactional tax matters. Assist with business entity formations, mergers, and acquisitions. Provide guidance on state and local tax issues. Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve client goals. Requirements Minimum of four years of relevant tax experience preferred. Active bar license in the corresponding state or commitment to obtain one. Experience with non-profit and for-profit clients. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Active bar membership in good standing. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
