Key Responsibilities

Grant Writing & Development

• Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources
• Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports
• Collaborate with Director to gather data, budgets, and program details
• Maintain a grants calendar to track deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with grant guidelines and funding requirements
• Monitor and report on grant outcomes

Administrative Support

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to Museum Director
• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
• Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials
• Maintain organized records, files, and databases (including grant documentation)
• Assist with event planning, including donor and community events
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external groups

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of grant writing, administrative, or related experience
• Proven success in securing grants (preferred)
• Strong writing, editing, and research skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
