Job Title Community Manager Job Details Location: Westmount at Copper Mill Apartments, Houston, TX 77095 Position Type: Full Time (30‑40 hours per week) Salary Range: $78,000 – $83,000 per year Travel: Up to 25% Shift: Day, Monday – Friday Industry: Property Management Key Responsibilities Regularly inspect the property to ensure company standards are met; take appropriate action to establish compliance with safety, industry, and government regulations, ensuring safe operation at all times and identifying areas for improvement. Gather, analyze, and interpret market and economic trends that may impact the property and implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. Develop resident retention strategies by communicating with residents in a timely manner, monitoring satisfaction through calls, texts, or emails, and addressing service issues. Manage and coordinate repair and maintenance requests, verify inspections of vacant units, and oversee preventive maintenance programs. Partner with the Regional Manager to create operating income/expense budgets, ensuring all budgeting guidelines and financial systems are followed per BH policy. Review monthly income and expense reports and report variances from budget; coordinate collection and documentation of all revenues per lease obligations and the owners’ policy. Hire, train, supervise, develop, and mentor property staff; conduct performance evaluations and provide corrective action as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum three years of property management experience managing up to 299 units. Prior leadership experience required. High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred. Ability to travel by car or plane up to 20% of the time. Advanced Microsoft Office Word and Excel skills and competent computer technology skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
