About the Job:

Washington County Home is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team!

We are looking for a part-time LPN to provide quality nursing care to our assisted living residents. This position will include a mix of day and afternoon shifts, with scheduling needs that may include both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
This is a great opportunity for an LPN looking for part-time hours while maintaining a degree of flexibility in their schedule.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individual service plans and provider orders.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond appropriately to their needs.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to providers, families, and appropriate members of the nursing team.
• Complete required nursing documentation accurately and timely.
• Provide direction and support to Resident Assistants and other direct-care staff.
• Participate in shift-to-shift communication and promote continuity of care.
• Respond appropriately to resident emergencies and changing care needs.
• Promote resident dignity, safety, independence, and quality of life.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, infection-control practices, and applicable regulations.
• Work collaboratively with residents, families, coworkers, providers, and other members of the care team.

Pay:

• Starting rate is $27.04/hour.
• Shift Differential, Holiday Pay.
• The first step increase will take place 6 months from the start date.

Openings:

• 2 positions - 2 positions for Days (6am - 2pm) and Afternoons (2pm - 10pm) that may include both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.

Typical shifts may include:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, as applicable to the facility schedule.

About Us:
The Washington County Home is the most unique facility in the county which sits on almost 300 acres of land. We are increasing our farm-to-table approach, including vegetables from our garden, beef from our cattle, and eggs from our chickens. Our facility is run as an assisted living facility and is governed by the county commissioners. The facility can hold 60 residents and we are thoughtful with each admission, ensuring the individual will be a good fit with our current population.
