Details Medical step-down/IMCU unit with 16-20 beds Patient ratio of 1:4 Patient population includes sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week 36 guaranteed hours weekly on a deferred schedule No on-call requirements Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month Block scheduling not typically approved Requirements Active RN license (GA state or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS and ACLS Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Experience in high-acuity, high-volume hospital settings with complex trauma cases required Proven background managing critical, fast-paced situations in large-scale trauma environments required Additional Information Work within a Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as traveler rate American Traveler Job ID P-749878.
