Opportunity Overview: LSA is seeking American Sign Language Interpreters for a client in the Austin, TX area. Interpreters in the LSA network are independently contracted and can negotiate competitive fees based on experience, credentials, and market factors. Network interpreters can accept or decline assignments based on their availability. They have opportunities to take on challenging assignments and gain industry experience. Interpreters are expected to commit to accepted assignments and arrive onsite as scheduled. All interpreters have access to our web-based invoicing platform and 24-hour coordinator support for assignments, invoicing, and queries. Location: Applicants must be in or near the Austin, TX area or able to travel there. About the role: Interpreters in the LSA network should meet these requirements: Associate or Bachelor degree RID (or BEI where applicable) State’s QA equivalent level certification Proof of License or Registration Fluency in English and American Sign Language Knowledge of and adherence to interpreting ethics Experience and comfort working in medical and/or mental health settings #J-18808-Ljbffr Language Services Associates, Inc.
