Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 38-bed Emergency Department encompassing three main areas: Rapid, Main, and a psychiatric-safe pod
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont rapid infusers, and chest tubes
• Perform and assist with procedures such as port placement and chest tube management
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Apply de-escalation techniques and prioritization skills in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Float to a sister Emergency Department as needed per unit guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Demonstrated skills in prioritization, time management, and patient de-escalation
• Ability to meet weekend and holiday requirements: 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays minimum per 4-week schedule, plus 2 major and 2 minor holidays
• Willingness to wear navy blue scrubs per dress code policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a high-acuity environment
• Experience working in a psychiatric-safe care environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
