We are a growing, performance-focused restoration company specializing in water, mold, and fire mitigation. We move with urgency, hold high standards, and expect measurable results. We are not looking for a passive estimator. We are hiring a revenue producer.

Senior Restoration Sales Estimator (Revenue-Generating Role) The Mission

Inspect. Present. Close. You will respond to restoration losses, build technical scope, present solutions with authority, and secure signed agreements. Your success will be measured by close rate, revenue produced, and margin protected. If you are uncomfortable asking for the sale, this role is not for you.

What You Will Own

• Inspection & Technical Authority
  • Perform on-site inspections for water, mold, and fire losses
  • Conduct moisture mapping and damage assessments
  • Build accurate mitigation and remediation scopes
  • Identify full project potential (containment, demo, pack-outs, reconstruction)
  • Ensure compliance with IICRC standards
• In-Home Sales & Closing
  • Present scope and pricing confidently in person
  • Explain: why the work is necessary, potential damage if work is not completed, insurance process and next steps, timeline and expectations
  • Overcome objections related to price, competitors, DIY, and "preferred vendors"
  • Ask directly for signed work authorization
  • Follow up with urgency until a decision is made
• Revenue Accountability
  • Target close rate: 45–60%+
  • Increase average job size
  • Protect gross margin
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline tracking
  • Participate in weekly sales reviews with leadership

Who This Is For

We are looking for a high-level restoration professional who:

• Has 3+ years estimating water and mold projects
• Understands IICRC standards (WRT preferred)
• Has presented estimates directly to homeowners
• Has worked with insurance claims and adjusters
• Has a proven close rate track record
• Is competitive and motivated by performance-based pay
• Is confident in emotionally charged environments and comfortable discussing five-figure projects

Someone who only wants to write scopes and email them, someone who avoids discussing pricing, someone who relies on others to close jobs, someone who needs constant direction.

Compensation Structure

Base Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 (based on experience) Commission: 3–7% of closed revenue Performance bonuses tied to revenue milestones On-Target Earnings: $100,000+

What Success Looks Like

Immediately: take on established estimates that have already been prepared and become the point person for the customer with the intention to sell the job. Within 90 days: confidently running inspections independently, closing jobs without leadership involvement, increasing overall company close rate, reducing lost jobs due to price and competitor objections.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $55,000 $70,000 per year Paid Time Off (PTO) and sick days Medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401k with employer matching after 60 days Company vehicle and gas reimbursement provided when traveling

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience using Xactimate Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with XactAnalysis, Symbility, Encircle, QuickBooks, Mica, Hydro, Excel, Word, Contractor Connection, Alacrity, and other job management software. IICRC certifications in Water, Mold, Fire/Smoke/Odor restoration (preferred)
