Description of Job Duty:
Assist the Head Athletic Trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate coeducational athletic training program. Specific duties include supervising the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries assisting with physical examinations supervising graduate students providing athletic trainer coverage of athletic practices and contests to include travel with assigned athletic teams and assisting with administrative duties. Sporting assignment will be with Mens Basketball and Mens Golf. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
Physically Demanding; Some Lifting (tape injured players etc.) Long Times on Feet.
Work Hours:
Before Hours; After Hours; Weekend Work Required

Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience. Level P2 Grade 8.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of one year of athletic training experience. National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification national certification required. Tennessee Athletic Trainers state license or eligibility for license. Beyond meeting minimum requirements candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for serving as an assistant athletic trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate coeducational athletic training program.

Experience with intercollegiate student-athletes.
