Job Summary

Radiation Therapist (RTT) position on the day shift. The role provides radiation therapy services for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting, supporting treatment planning, simulation, treatment delivery, patient education, and radiation safety. The assignment is scheduled to begin 12/14/2026.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; ARRT T certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; required experience with Epic charting; compact license in hand at submission.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Clinical Responsibilities and Experience: Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient care, emergency cases, radiation safety, treatment-site simulation, external beam therapy, intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), respiratory gating, custom molds and shields, portal imaging, and patient and family education.
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients with breast, prostate, lung, head and neck, and other variable cancers.
• Additional Information: The role includes approximately 35 visits per day and may involve treatment using Elekta equipment, with training provided as needed. Support is available from respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and unit secretary services.
